Are you new, or new-ish, to yoga and want an opportunity to develop and practice in a workshop atmosphere? Maybe you’re a seasoned practitioner but want a chance to work on having the engagement and proper alignment you need to get the most out of the experience? Are you intrigued by breathwork, meditation or other aspects of yoga and would like to learn a little more about the disciplines and how to incorporate them into your practice? Then this series is for you! We’ll spend 6 classes in a workshop atmosphere where we will focus on muscle engagement and proper alignment in our asanas, connecting breath to movement while working through asanas that are fundamental to yoga and found in many of the traditional classes. And if there is an asana or sequence you’ve been wanting to work into, bring it to the series and we can incorporate a personal goal so everyone can get exactly what they want.
Each class will include warm up and breath work, asansa fundamentals in a workshop environment, group discussion and some yoga flow to tie it all together.
