Echoes of Stillness:
A Rhythmic Sound & Mantra Journey
Step into an immersive sound journey where rhythm and mantra become the bridge between the outer world and the vast, uncharted depths of the inner self. Through the primal power of percussive instruments—frame drum, tablas, and hang drum—we create a pulsing, textured soundscape that gently dissolves the surface noise of the mind, guiding you into a deep state of presence and release.
Set within an atmospheric space of warm lighting and intentional vibration, this experience begins with a brief guided meditation, inviting you to soften, to listen, to open. As the rhythms unfold, mantra becomes a vessel—repeating sacred sounds that anchor you in stillness while moving you beyond thought, beyond words, into pure being.
This is a deeply nurturing practice. The element of sound works through the body, unwinding held tension, clearing pathways of energy, and attuning you to the resonance of something greater. As you surrender into the pulse, a profound sense of grounding emerges—one that is not heavy but vast, expansive, and steady.
Emerge with a feeling of renewal, a quiet yet undeniable transformation. This is more than just an experience—it’s a remembrance of the stillness that is always within you.
For this journey participants are welcome to sit, lie down, dance, do yoga, chi Kung or whatever moves you. If you know the mantra you are welcome to chant quietly.
Arjun Bruggeman, world percussionist, meditation teacher, composer and session recording artist, is highly acclaimed for his unique hybrid of East-meets-West rhythms. He brings 3 decades of experience as a practitioner of Eastern and Western spiritual practices to his playing, along with 19 years' touring as a tabla player worldwide with Krishna Das.
As a spiritual explorer with over 30 years of practice in Taoism, Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, Shamanism—including Siberian, Old Norse, and Druid traditions—and more. His lifelong quest to understand the diverse pathways of spirituality has revealed a unifying center of oneness and stillness.
He now channels his rich experience into immersive rhythmic sound journeys that blend ancient mantra recitation with percussive instruments like frame drums, tabla, hang drums and many more.
He has collaborated with artists including David Darling, Belinda Carlisle, Robert Bly, Clasrisa Pinkola Estes, Snatam Kaur, Jason Mraz, Mark Egan, and John Densmore and Robby Krieger of “The Doors”.
Noah Hoffeld is a musician and meditation teacher who performs with artists like Krishna Das and Natalie Merchant and is heard on Grammy-winning and Billboard #1 albums. His work as a producer includes Anubhav by Nina Rao and his own album of songs Mobile Home, coproduced with Mark Plati (Bowie, Prince, etc). Called the “deeply spiritual album Bowie forgot to make” (JW Vibe), Mobile Home addresses issues from climate change and human equality to the perils of falling in love.
Noah recorded and plays on Bodhiheart: Love Rules, Meditations for Cello and Piano, featuring Arjun Bruggeman on tablas and percussion. In 2024, he began working with groups and individuals, sharing heart-centered wisdom from his teacher Ram Dass, along with practices that allow us to truly be here now.
