Hello friends, Amy Jacobs here :)
Happy Fall Y'all . As much as I love the lazy days of summer, I also love the crunch of leaves underneath my feet, curling up with a blanket, football and comfort food.
As we shift from the ease of summer into school, work, schedules and planning for the upcoming holiday season, let's take a moment of gratitude that we have all this "stress". With thoughts of those less fortunate and more stressed, especially at this time of the year.
I am holding a donation based class on Sunday, November 9th, at 11:00 am, at Joy :), to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
My amazing friend Emily and her family have been fundraising for St. Jude's for many years . Here is a little of their story:
“16 year old PJ Sinopoli’s been fundraising for St.Jude’s for 10 years through the Fitness for a Cure event , where he performs on stage on a Fitness team (he’s on the high school team).
The philosophy of those on the various teams (ages 6-60s!) is those who are able bodied should give back to those who aren’t. The event takes place every March at Lowell Memorial Auditorium. PJ & his mom, Emily have fundraised over 15k for the charity over years through donations, charity dinners, lemonade stands, bake sales etc. & the event as a whole has raised 10 Million dollars for St.Jude’s!
Anyone who want to get involved with the event &/or attend please reach out to Emily at [email protected]
They’re always looking for more team members & committee member volunteers :)”
Please join us on Sunday, November 9th @ 11am for an all levels class to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital at JOY!
If you can't make the class and would still like to help, see the link below to donate and find out more about St.Jude.
Namaste ~ Amy :)
